What this means
- Repair Passport is not yet a full commercial service. You cannot sign up for it today.
- Your click may be counted anonymously: we record which button was clicked on which page, and when. We do not record your name, email, IP address, browser details or anything about your products.
- No account has been created for you.
- No payment is being taken.
- We do not ask for your email or name.
The idea in short
A Repair Passport would keep a product's repair records, the evidence behind them and a separate trust state for each record in one private place. You would choose what to share with a buyer, as a read-only view you can revoke, and hand the passport on when the product changes hands. Claims, evidence and verification stay separate, and a passport never certifies a product or a complete history.
